2.What Miny does

Miny is a productivity app for creating, organising and viewing tasks, events, notes and reminders, across the Today, Planning, To-Do and Notes views. Some features let you capture this information by voice or text and structure it automatically.

3.Acceptance of the terms

By using Miny, you accept these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the app.

4.Minimum age

Miny is intended for people aged 15 and over. If you are under 15, you may use Miny, and in particular consent to its artificial intelligence features, only with the agreement of a person with parental authority. In-app purchases made by a minor are the responsibility of their legal guardian and of the parental controls offered by Apple and Google.

5.Artificial intelligence features

Miny uses automated transcription and artificial intelligence services to interpret some voice or text commands. These features are enabled only after your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings › Privacy (see the privacy policy).

These systems may occasionally produce incorrect or incomplete results or misinterpret a request. You must check important information before saving and relying on it, especially dates, times, reminders, events and sensitive content.

Miny must not be used as a critical system or as the only way to keep information whose loss or error could cause significant harm.

6.Local data and backups

Miny requires no account. Your productivity data is stored locally on your device and is not synced between devices.

Deleting the app, resetting the device or certain technical incidents may cause local data loss. On iOS, this data can be restored from a device backup; on Android, it is not backed up. It is up to you to take appropriate precautions for information you consider important.

7.Free access and voice capture quota

Miny can be used for free. The free version includes a quota of 5 voice captures. Each voice capture uses one unit; one more capture is recharged every 8 hours, up to 5 available. Adding items manually is not limited.

This quota is managed locally on your device. Deliberately circumventing it is unauthorised use (see “Acceptable use”). DAM APP may change what the free version includes; the limits in force are those shown in the app.

8.Miny Pro and in-app purchases

Miny Pro is a paid subscription that includes in particular unlimited voice captures, advanced notifications and automatic organisation. It is offered as a monthly or annual plan.

Purchases are made exclusively through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, using your device’s store account. Price, currency, subscription length and applicable taxes are shown by the platform before you confirm. Payment is charged to your store account on confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial, where applicable).

Miny Pro entitlements are managed technically by RevenueCat; payment itself is always processed by Apple or Google.

9.Free trial and promotional offers

The annual Miny Pro plan may come with a 3-day free trial, available to eligible store accounts under the platform’s rules. The exact conditions are shown before you subscribe.

At the end of the trial, the annual subscription automatically becomes paid unless you cancel before the trial ends (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before it ends). Other promotional offers may be made available; their conditions are those shown when you subscribe.

10.Renewal and cancellation

Miny Pro subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless cancelled before the end of the current period (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before it ends). If the price increases, the platform informs you under its own rules.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your App Store or Google Play account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, until which Miny Pro remains available. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

11.Restoring purchases

Miny’s “Restore purchases” feature recovers a valid subscription on a new device or after reinstalling, provided you use the same Apple or Google account as for the purchase.

12.Refunds and right of withdrawal

Because payments are collected by Apple or Google, refund requests are handled under their procedures: via reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or from your Google Play account. DAM APP cannot issue these refunds itself.

If you are a consumer, you generally have 14 days to exercise a right of withdrawal (Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). This right cannot, however, be exercised for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium whose performance has begun with your prior express consent and express waiver of that right (Article L221-28, 13° of the same code). The applicable conditions are those presented by the platform at purchase; Apple’s and Google’s policies may be more favourable. None of this limits your mandatory consumer rights.

13.Notifications and reminders

Miny schedules local notifications based on the information you save. Their delivery depends in particular on the permissions granted, operating-system settings (Focus modes, battery optimisation, exact alarms), power restrictions and how the device works.

DAM APP does not guarantee that a notification will be delivered at the exact time in all circumstances. You remain responsible for checking important information and deadlines.

14.Acceptable use

You agree not to use Miny or its services:

• in any unlawful way;
• to try to disrupt or compromise the service;
• to deliberately circumvent technical, security or commercial limits, including the voice capture quota;
• to access third-party systems or data without authorisation;
• for automated or abusive use of the API or related services.

DAM APP may apply reasonable technical limits, including rate limits, to protect the service and its operating costs.

15.Availability and changes to the service

DAM APP strives to keep Miny available and working but does not guarantee permanent availability, total absence of errors, compatibility with every device, or absolute accuracy of speech recognition or artificial intelligence. Voice capture and AI text capture require an internet connection.

Miny may be modified, improved or suspended, and features may evolve when necessary, while respecting your rights under an ongoing subscription.

16.Third-party services

Miny relies on third-party services whose availability and certain operations are subject to their own terms:

• Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Speech-to-Text, Cloud Logging) and Google Gemini: API hosting, transcription and request interpretation;
• Apple App Store and Google Play: app distribution and payments;
• RevenueCat: subscription management;
• Expo (650 Industries): app update delivery;
• PostHog: usage statistics;
• Sentry: crash reporting.

17.Intellectual property

Miny, its interface, design, name, software, graphics and the content produced by DAM APP are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. DAM APP grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Miny in accordance with these terms.

No ownership right in Miny is transferred to you. You keep whatever rights you hold in the content you enter in the app.

18.Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DAM APP shall not be liable for damage resulting in particular from a misinterpretation by an automated system that you did not check, an undelivered notification, loss of local data, a temporary service interruption, or the use of Miny as the only means of keeping critical information.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes the legal guarantees (including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services, Articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) or the mandatory rights you enjoy as a consumer.

19.Privacy

How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

20.The damapp.app website

Information published on damapp.app is provided for information purposes. DAM APP strives to keep it accurate and up to date, but information about products in preparation may change before public release.

21.Changes to these terms

DAM APP may update these terms to reflect changes to Miny, the website or the law. The version in force is the one published at this address, with its update date. Substantial changes do not apply retroactively to a subscription period already paid.

22.Complaints

In the event of a dispute, please first contact DAM APP at contact@damapp.app so we can look for an amicable solution.

23.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, subject to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Failing an amicable resolution, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts under ordinary rules; as a consumer, you may in particular bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
